About Us

Elaine has been working with horses since she was a young girl.   She has always trained her own horses.  The first horse she trained by herself was Ima Balmy Mac.  She purchased Mac when he was 3 weeks old.  She purchased several books on Training Horses.  One of the books was “True Unity” by Tom Dorrance. The training principles are based on the natural way horses communicate with each other.  Today, she still uses these principles in training horses.

Elaine began working with Miniature Horses after back trouble made it difficult to ride full size horses.  She purchased her first miniature horse, HCM War Paint’s Storm Cat and trained him to Drive, Jump, and do Obstacle.  She and Stormy were very successful their first year of showing.
Currently, Elaine takes pride in taking students to the Southeastern AMHA shows and the World Championships in Ft. Worth Texas, and teaching students that hard works pays off.
